The Inside Man

A face can keep its composure while the mind does anything but. The Inside Man presents a dark profile against a warm field of peach, ochre, and coral. Within the silhouette, fine scratches, tangled lines, and traces of color suggest a life that refuses to stay beneath the surface.

Blue and violet passages hold the figure together; small flashes of yellow interrupt the quiet. The outline gives us a person. What happens inside it is less easily contained.
