Fall in Oak Park

A scrap of handwriting, a fading pattern, a color that refuses to leave. Fall, Collected brings these small remnants together in a layered composition of rose, ochre, lavender, and pale blue. Dark passages anchor the surface, while overlapping scalloped forms gather below like memories finding room for one another.

Rather than a literal autumn landscape, the painting suggests a season of gathering: fragments held together, each still carrying something of its earlier life.
