Orquevaux is a charming village with a population of only 80 residents, located three hours east of Paris in the vicinity of Chamount. The artist was inspired by the surroundings during the residency, where the fields had just been harvested, leaving behind a beautiful golden-brown hue.

Painted with the colors of the environment, this autobiographical work is very close to the artist's heart, much like a writer's first book. It features characters from his life and tells the story of his journey from India to Chicago, visiting both his material and spiritual dimensions, familial bonds, and love.
